mark keller_01: dynamic diagram


The dynamic diagram is derived from Chiesa di Sant'Ivo alla Sapienza, a Baroque Roman Catholic church designed by Francesco Borromini. Completed in 1660, Sant'Ivo features a rotunda comprised of distinct geometries that crash into each other at sharp intersections; the resulting form contrasts Borromini's the more blended geometries of San Carlino.

The relational geometry is primarily constrained by four independent radii shown above. By manipulating these variables, new arrangements can be created that are logically consistent with the relational rules of the plan, but which yield radically different spaces.
